Executive Publisher

Kimberley is Executive Publisher for HarperFiction and One More Chapter. Kimberley joined HarperCollins in 2012 from Harlequin UK, where she was Editorial Director, responsible for the Mills & Boon imprint and the general fiction MIRA list, and she also established a teen and digital first imprint. Kimberley ran the general fiction list for eight years, building the careers of many #1 Sunday Times bestsellers and still manages a list of bestselling authors. In 2014 she was named a Bookseller Rising Star, and in 2015 she was shortlisted for Editor of the Year at the Bookseller Industry Awards and at the Romantic Novelists’ Association in 2016.

Charlotte is Publisher of One More Chapter. She started in publishing in 2011 at Mills & Boon before moving across to HarperCollins in 2013. Since then, she has worked across commercial fiction from Sunday Times bestseller Sally Page to Julie Caplin, who has sold over a million copies worldwide. A champion for digital publishing, Charlotte was highly commended at the Futurebook awards and won the Book Marketing Society’s Best Shoestring Campaign for her work on the first online romance festival. She was shortlisted for The Bookseller and SYP’s Trailblazer of the Year award and has won the Romantic Novelist Association’s Publisher of the Year award twice, nominated a third time. Charlotte is looking for strong, unique voices and fresh twists on popular themes.

Head of Digital Marketing

Emma is Head of Digital Marketing for One More Chapter. Starting her publishing career in 2016 at Kogan Page, Emma moved to John Murray Press later the same year. While there, she managed the digital marketing strategy and devised campaigns for debuts and brand authors alike, including Susie Dent, Mick Herron, Ruth Hogan, and Miriam Margolyes. She has received two Book Marketing Society awards for her campaigns on Sally Page’s The Keeper of Stories and Aaron Gillies’ How to Survive the End of the World (when it’s in your own head) and was also one of the founding members of The Future Bookshelf. Emma joined the One More Chapter team in September 2021 where she coordinates the marketing and brand strategy and global campaign plans. Emma was shortlisted for the London Book Fair Trailblazers award 2022.

Jennie Rothwell

Editorial Director

Jennie is Senior Commissioning Editor at One More Chapter. She started her publishing career at Avon and has since worked at Sphere, Zaffre Books and Century Fiction before joining the team at One More Chapter in 2021. She has worked across all genres of commercial fiction; from crime and thriller, historical and saga to contemporary women’s fiction. She has helped launch the success of many Sunday Times bestselling authors as well as working with established authors including T.M. Logan, Nicholas Sparks, Katie Flynn and E L James. Jennie loves crime fiction with a dark twist and unreliable narrators and is looking for gripping new perspectives to publish into the genre. Alongside this she is also looking for contemporary zeitgeisty romances and stories from underrepresented voices.

Bonnie Macleod

Editor

Bonnie is our Editor at One More Chapter. Her previous role was at Dorling Kindersley, Penguin Random House, where she worked as an editor across a varied list of adult non-fiction titles. She has a master’s degree in publishing from University College London and while studying, she started her career interning at Laurence King Publishing and Hachette UK. Before joining the world of publishing, she studied Classics at Exeter University. She loves reading commercial and book club fiction across all genres, from psychological thrillers and destination romances to feminist retellings and accessible historical fiction. When she’s not obsessing over books, she loves watching small-town US romance dramas or Scandi noir thrillers on Netflix.

Chloe Cummings

Digital Marketing Assistant

Chloe is our Digital Marketing Assistant at One More Chapter and she loves being able to combine her passions for books and marketing. This is Chloe’s first role in publishing. Chloe loves all books especially fiction, her favourite authors are Dolly Alderton, Taylor Jenkins Reid and Gillian Flynn. When Chloe is not reading, you can find her cooking or walking her Cockapoo Ozzy.

Arsalan Isa

Editorial Assistant

Arsalan Isa is One More Chapter’s Editorial Assistant. He reads widely, from campy romcoms to moody novels in translation. He likes stories that can’t be written by anyone else. Some of his previous roles have been at Rich Mix, Critical Muslim, Tabac Bar, N1 Garden Centre, and Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture. Outside of editorial, he writes and has an art practice. From 2022 to 2023, he was featured in Cryptofiction, Studio Voltaire, Asia Forum Venice Biennale, and Documenta 15. He facilitates a collaborative studio at Metroland Cultures; a space for zines, dramaturgy, performance, and joy. He brings this transdisciplinary approach to editing. He has recently been published in a risograph zine that explores chicken shop politics. His text, Dissociative Realism, is forthcoming in an artist’s monograph, published by NERO Editions.

Senior Designer

Lucy is our Senior Designer, and has been designing book covers for 30 years. Design is her passion and she loves all aspects including fashion, architecture and typography. One More Chapter is the perfect opportunity to design covers for all genres and with the best people in the business.
