Why our authors love Avon

Here at Avon Books UK we count ourselves lucky to have some absolutely incredible authors on our list. We publish a variety of genres so we have a wide range of authors who’ve signed book deals with us, both male and females. Of course we’re by no means perfect – if only – but we like to think that we work very hard to make our authors feel loved and publish their books as best we can. It’s an incredibly rewarding job!

The best days are obviously when we get that love back from our authors. So if you’re thinking of submitting your manuscript to be published by us, here are some words from our authors about their experience with us.

‘Hitting the Kindle #1 spot was a euphoric experience. I hadn’t dared dream quite that big, so I was in the lovely situation of having exceeded all my expectations and being up somewhere past Cloud Nine. There were actual tears of joy, I promise you. I’ve never experienced anything quite like it. So, in true Oscar fashion, it just remains to me to thank you all for publishing The Christmas Promise so well! You were all brilliant throughout.’

Sue Moorcroft

‘I always knew that I was going to sign again with Avon. My relationship with them has been closer to personal friendship than some arrangement between employer and employee, though it’s also been massively productive. We’ve been on a fantastic journey together so far, and I can’t wait for the next leg.’

Paul Finch

‘I am thrilled to sign another two book deal with Avon. Thanks to Helen, Oli and the amazing sales team, my psychological thrillers have reached an astonishing number of readers and I’ve fulfilled a lifelong dream – to become a Sunday Times bestseller. I couldn’t ask for a more hardworking or dedicated group of people to help build my career and I’m excited to see what the future holds.’
